The month of December is all about ‘Christianity in Action’. As a church, we believe that we not only live our faith during our own meetings, but also give substance to it by extending a helping hand to the environment, in our case the city of Eindhoven. This is not only what we like to do, but it is also a Biblical command that Jesus gives us.
We do the following activities as a church under the name City Life Community. This gives us the opportunity to collaborate with secular companies and institutions + the government, allowing us to make maximum impact on the people in Eindhoven who need it the most.
De maand december staat in het teken van ‘Christianity in Action’. We geloven als kerk dat we ons geloof niet alleen beleven tijdens onze eigen bijeenkomsten, maar ook handen en voeten geven door een helpende hand uit te reiken naar de omgeving, in ons geval de stad Eindhoven. Dit is niet alleen wat we graag doen, maar het is ook een Bijbelse opdracht die Jezus ons geeft.
We doen onderstaande activiteiten als kerk onder de naam City Life Community. Dit geeft ons de mogelijkheid samen te werken met seculiere bedrijven en instellingen + de overheid, waardoor we maximaal impact kunnen maken op de mensen in Eindhoven die het het hardst nodig hebben.
CHRISTMAS WORKSHOP | DECEMBER 7
In collaboration with Sweet Dreams Bakery, JEM, ISE high school and Dynamo, we are organizing an evening where we will wrap presents together and bake/decorate cookies to give away during our Christmas Dinner on December 12.
Sweet Dreams Bakery in collaboration with CLC has started A project with the aim of bringing the community together and thereby giving something special to the children of JeM. JeM is an organization that supports young teenage mothers during pregnancy and after birth.
In the Sweet Dreams store there is a large Christmas tree with labels. Each laBEL contains a QR code to purchase a gift for a child or make a donation for the mothers. Together we make the difference!

KERST WORKSHOP | 7 DECEMBER
n samenwerking met Sweet Dreams Bakery, JEM, ISE hoge school en Dynamo organiseren we een avond waar we samen cadeautjes gaan inpakken en koekjes bakken / versieren om weg te geven tijdens ons Kerst Diner op 12 december.
Sweet Dreams Bakery in samenwerking met CLC een project begonnen met als doel de community bij elkaar te brengen en daarbij iets speciaals te kunnen geven aan de kinderen van JeM. JeM is een organisatie die jonge tiener moeders ondersteund tijdens de zwangerschap en na de geboorte.
In de winkel van Sweet Dreams staat een grote kerstboom met labels. Op elk label staat een QR code om een cadeau te kunnen aanschaffen voor een kind of een donatie te geven voor de moeders. Samen maken we het verschil!

CHRISTMAS DINER FOR THE COMMUNITY | DECEMBER 12
This year we are also organizing a Christmas dinner in and for the students and employees of Dynamo and the mothers of JeM. The past year has shown us how valuable this is for people who have often missed a lot of warmth and personal attention in their lives. One of the responses we received last year was: It’s been a long time since I had a Christmas dinner…’.
We want to do the preparation and serving of the food together as a church. Do you enjoy cooking and/or serving and also sitting at people’s tables for some personal attention? Please send us a message via info@clceindhoven.nl
Ook dit jaar organiseren we een kerstdiner in en voor de studenten en werknemers van Dynamo en de moeders van JeM. Het afgelopen jaar heeft ons laten zien hoe waardevol dit is voor mensen die vaak een stuk warmte en persoonlijke aandacht hebben gemist in hun leven. Één van de reacties die we vorig jaar kregen was: Het is lang geleden dat ik een kerstdiner heb gehad…’.
